I have not entered into an I Heart Faces Challenge for awhile and I saw this week is Autumn Splendor~  I thought of this image I captured a few weeks ago in our woods, we were blessed with gorgeous warm days and the light was beautiful!   This is one of my favorites!   Please check out all the amazing entries!

This amazing couple are expecting their first born next month and I was able to meet up with them on one of the most beautiful October evenings I can remember!   They are amazingly spiritual and will guide their son with wisdom and the love of God’s grace!   The  first image is a favorite of mine, their pose, their connection, the light radiating on them!   I can’t wait to meet your precious one, so glad I can be a part of this special time!  Enjoy your sneak peek of images!

I had the pleasure of meeting up with this adorable Senior at a great park on a beautiful October afternoon!  We had the most gorgeous light!   I photographed her sister’s Senior pictures last year!   2 of her 3 sisters were along and gave her “sisterly love” during her photo shoot!   Enjoy your sneak peek,  I had a great time capturing these for you!

I got to meet up with this gorgeous Senior at a great location and she had along both her mom and dad and her best friend.   I think about what it must be like to see your child all grown up before your eyes getting their images taken for their Senior year, feelings of pride, accomplishment, and knowing that both child and parent are about to start a new chapter in their lives.   I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and your last year at EHS,  it goes by quick enjoy every minute of it!  I had such a fun morning with all of you!

Eyes they say are the window to the soul~  This week’s challenge at I Heart Faces is “Beautiful Eyes”,  I know I am her proud mom but since she was an infant she has gotten this “Look at those eyes” her name is Claire it means clear and bright and her eyes match the definition!   I remember when I first started out I took an image and captured the brilliance of her eyes they have a center of gold flecks and to me the prettiest shade of blue, when you have beautiful light it just brings out more of the color.   This is the real color of her eyes, my wish is that she is able to see so many beautiful opportunities and amazing adventures with them!

Run towards the horizon and the whispers of dreams, Senior 2012 you have a very bright future~


I had the opportunity to photograph this Senior and she was a lot of fun to work with and had some great ideas to use for her images!  She is a natural and it made it easy to capture her personality!  I am so glad you contacted me for this special time and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!  Thanks for meeting me so early to capture these!  

I love all the challenges at I Heart Faces, this weeks theme is water, I thought of this image all day and decided to enter it, it makes me laugh the look of intent/yet happiness on her face!  There are always amazing images by talented artists at I Heart Faces, check out the other entries.

The challenge this week over at I Heart Faces is Props~  I love a good prop and I think that when they have thought and meaning can really enhance an image in the mood being portrayed.  This is one of my favorite shots~it wasn’t exactly staged, she just naturally sat on the suitcase and made this face that I captured.  She wore this dress for the shoot and I added the headband and the vintage suitcase by the tracks, but only she could give me the expression!  I am so happy the family has a large canvas of this hanging in their home!    Check out more incredible images at I Heart Faces.

I was so very excited when Kelly contacted me to do her pictures of her sweet family, it is always an honor when you are chosen to capture the most special times,  she has the cutest boys and  it like stepping back in time when my own were this age~Big brother is so smart, happy and looking for a frog~  I enjoyed our evening together.  Though it’s  a busy time, it is one of the most amazing, enjoy your images!
